Action de grâce des petits commencements…
Encouragés depuis quelques années par José & Ana qui avaient vécu CANA au Royaume-Uni, portés par la grâce des JMJ et poussés par l’Esprit « qui souffle où il veut », le moment semblait favorable pour lancer le premier week-end CANÁ au Portugal.
Nous étions 40 au total, dont 16 couples qui découvraient CANÁ. Certains couples sont arrivés dès vendredi soir depuis Portimão, les autres venant de Lisbonne, Setúbal ou Porto samedi matin.
Le thème du week-end était « S’écouter pour mieux choisir ».
Exercices et temps de couple, enseignements et workshops, soirée de prière avec démarches, fraternité et balade… Le week-end était riche, dynamique et très apprécié des couples !
A la fin, nous avons utilisé des post-its de couleur pour interroger les couples sur la suite de CANÁ au Portugal : fraternité ? CANA Welcome ? week-end ? semaine CANA ?
Les signaux sont au vert… CANÁ est très prometteur au Portugal et apporte une nouvelle couleur à l’Eglise locale : nous sommes attendus !

Blessings of little beginnings…
Encouraged for some years by José & Ana who had experienced CANA in the UK, carried by the grace of WYD and urged by the Spirit « who blows where he wills », the time seemed right to launch the first CANÁ weekend in Portugal.
There were 40 of us in total, including 16 couples who were new to CANÁ. Some couples arrived as early as Friday evening from Portimão, while others came from Lisbon, Setúbal or Porto on Saturday morning.
The theme of the weekend was « Listen to make better choices ».
The weekend was rich, dynamic and much appreciated by the couples who could participate in couple time, teachings and workshop, a prayer evening where they could take a step with further, walks…
At the end, we used coloured post-its to ask the couples about what they wanted to do after CANÁ in Portugal: fraternity? CANA Welcome ? weekend ? CANA week ?
The lights are green… CANÁ is very promising in Portugal and is bringing a new colour to the local Church: we are expected!
